What we cover
We write about how television over the internet works and about the tools for using it: the programs that play a stream, the devices they run on, the formats they read, and the rules that apply in Italy.
The subject is crowded with useless material — pages promising the “best IPTV” that end up steering readers towards irregular services, or guides that open by asking you to switch off your device's protections. Our approach is the opposite: explain how things actually stand, including the awkward parts, and let the reader decide.
What we do not do
These are voluntary limits and they cost us traffic: a substantial share of the searches on this subject concern precisely what we have chosen not to cover. We consider it the minimum price of being a useful source.
Who writes

How we work
The method by which we gather data, the assessment criteria and the state of our own hands-on testing are set out at length in how we test. The rules on sources, corrections and updates are in the editorial policy.
In short: we publish only what we can trace back to a primary source — developer documentation, a store listing, a legal text — and we say openly when a piece of information cannot be verified, rather than filling the gap with an estimate.
How we are funded
The site currently generates no revenue: it carries no advertising, has no sponsored content and has no active affiliate agreements. If we switch on affiliate links in future, they will be flagged as such on every page containing them and they will have no bearing on the assessments we publish. Independence
We have no commercial, consulting or shareholding relationship with the developers of the apps named here, with the manufacturers of the devices, or with the television services mentioned. Should any such situation arise, it will be declared on the page concerned, before the content rather than in a footnote.
